About the Lesson
Did you know that the Japanese term "sushi" mean "sour rice"? And the sour part of the rice comes from the vinegar that is added in making sushi. In this workshop, learn the basic techniques in making and seasoning rice. Improve your knife skills as you prepare ingredients. Master sushi-rolling technique using a bamboo mat as you create an assortment of "maki" and California rolls. Our instructor may even teach you a few Japanese phrases.
